Dear expat community,
I’m a German (ethnic Korean) and I would like to teach guitar here in Phnom Penh. I traveled during the last eleven month overland from Germany to Cambodia, further to Indonesia and back to here. Now my passport is full. Until the new one arrives, I would like to use the opportunity to search for a job. I love Cambodia and I would like stay here for a year or longer, before I go to Southkorea where I was adopted from.
I also have a uni diploma degree in praxisorientated Social Science (main: social work and education/european laws) but unfortunately not so much work experience at my subject. I already gave guitar lessons in Germany for children and adolescent in the juvenile shelter, where I used to work. I speak fluently english – if you don’t mind my German accent - and I’m willing to come to your place to teach…if it’s not too far, should be reachable by bicycle.

- basic chords and chord progressions
- advanced chords and chord progressions
- guitar techniques
- “licks and tricks”
- composing on guitar and arrangement
- how to cover a song/rearrangement

Possible Homerecording Lessons on Cubase:
- basic hardware overview - wirering, sample rates, A/D converter, system requirements
- how to use Cubase
- VSTi – Virtual Instruments – having a band and/or an orchestra at your place
- audiotrack editing – time warp, pitch and “correcting” wrong singing vocalists
- miditrack editing –controllers use, editors and keybord input, “humanize” tracks
- mixing

and effects – delay, reverb & co., read/write controllers
- writing songs without playing any instrument
