23 year old half Malaysian half English female, looking to rent a room in a flat share.
I am currently interning as a Programme Assistant with the Heinrich Boll Foundation for 3 months, and I am staying near Wat Langkar.
Anywhere located near central Phnom Penh, where I can easly access work via bicycle would be fine.
Please contact me on j [dot] sercombe [at] hotmail [dot] com.
Very easy to live with, as I have been house/flat sharing for a good while!
I've worked in Cambodia twice before as well as, so am acquainted with the area, food and culture.
Hello Jess,
I am the main tenant of a 5-bedroom, 3-level house. Location is exceptional: in an almost pedestrian area with a village flair to it, and right in the heart of the city namely: corner of street 312 and street 21. For exercise addicts, the Sky Garden rooftop gym and swimming pool is a 2-minute walk — hardly enough to warm up! And the Hunsen Gardens are another 60 seconds further away.
The second main asset of our house is its spacious rooftop opening to a semi-panoramic (yet private) view.
The third main asset is the ample storage room.
The rest of the package is fairly standard:
- Each room is fully furnished, has air conditioning, and private bathroom with hot shower (not that you really need hot water in this period of the year)
- Broadband wifi
- House cleaner (also does cooking and laundry)
- Common facilities: Kitchen with child water fountain, spacious dining room, massive living room, and impressive rooftop (see description above)
- Garage for motorbikes and pushbikes
- 24 hour security
Good luck with your house hunting.
Kind regards,
Eric

Hi Jess!
I have two rooms available in my apartment at the moment. It's on the first floor, located on the ‘Golden Mile’, Street 278 in BKK1, just near Wat Langka. It's surrounded by restaurants, hotels and bars, which makes it very safe.
It's all fully furnished. There are 2 free bedrooms, each with double bed, own bathroom, hot water and air conditioning.
There is also a large balcony with lots of plants, a huge living room, kitchen and spare room, and lots of storage space.
Available now, at US$180 per month plus utilities.
Please call me with any enquiries or to have a look - 010 673 844.
Cheers!
Tess
Hello,
I saw this was an active forum, so I thought I'd try my luck here.
I'm looking for a place to stay for three weeks from Friday 30 April to Saturday 22 May. I'll be doing a three-week internship at the Phnom Penh Post. I'm Australian-Chinese and a postgraduate student at The University of Hong Kong - very reliable and a non-smoker.
If anyone has or knows of a place or a room available during that period (preferably close to the Phnom Penh Post, in the Phnom Penh Center), please drop me a line! I've never been to Phnom Penh before so I'm afraid I'm not so familiar with the place's main streets and landmarks. My email address is maggiechen [dot] au [at] gmail [dot] com.
Thanks,
Maggie
