Hello,
I'm a 27-year-old freelance journalist (from London) moving to Phnom Penh around 23 November. I'm looking for a relaxed and sociable flatshare to call home for the next year.
It would be great to live with like-minded expats. I'm an easy-going flatmate - up for hanging out and going out on weekends, but respectful and work-minded during the week.
I'll be working part-time for a media development NGO, as well as writing on the side. This means I'll be working from home some days and likely travelling on others. My only real requirement is decent wi-fi!
My budget is in the region of $100-300 p/m. I'll be working near the Russian Market, but flexible on the location (especially for the right house and people!)
So if you've got a spare room, then please get in touch. Or if you are in a similar situation, perhaps we can flathunt together and rope in some other willing housemates.

For anybody looking, my mate and I have two rooms available from the 19th of November in a 4 bedroom french/khmer style home in Toul Kork.
$112.50 a month plus electric and water ($20ish extra)
Our home is situated in a secure quite street close to amenities and 15mins to riverside.
The house and all bedrooms are fully furnished.including fridge, washing machine and an oven. We have a beautiful large garden surrounding the whole place, a few chooks and a rooftop hang out.
You would be sharing with 2 Easy going and open minded people a 25yo English man and myself a 21yo Australian woman.

Hi Hanna,
I'm a journalist in Phnom Penh trying to get someone to fill a room in my house. I'm hoping to have it filled by November 23 but if not it's a beautiful French colonial villa that was the former governor's house with a big dinning room and living room, 4 balconies and lots of nice furniture. The rent is $300 a month plus $60 for the maid, but I think I'm getting a bargain given the place.

I have a room available anytime after Nov. 21. A few blocks south of russian market in a new building. It's three bedrooms, lots of windows and wonderfully high ceilings. 3rd level, landlord lives on the ground floor with another flat below. Western style kitchen with granite counter tops at the right height. Large living/dining room and a front balcony. There is a cat, but she spends most of her time outside. Rent is $185/mo plus utilities, cleaning lady is $30/mo. My number is 077909501.
