Help - Found a lost dog in Pontoon - Trying to locate owner

I live in Phnom Penh and was out with friends on Friday night at Pontoon. At around 12.30 someone thrust a dog into my arms said something and then abruptly left. I wasn't concentrating and by the time I looked up she had disapeared.
The poor dog was very scared so after checking with everyone around I took her back to my apartment and have been looking after her since then.
She has no collar, but looks well looked after if a little scared. If anyone knows who she is or belongs to please let me know. I am happy to care for her but I hope that if she does belong to someone I can reunite her with her owners as soon as possible.
She is very doclile, beige and light brown and is about 50cm long. I don't know what breed of dog she is. I am taking her to the vet on Monday or this afternoon if I can to see if she is ok and to see if they are aware of who she is.

That's a beautiful looking dog. I cannot believe someone would dump her ! Please let us know hos you go. What is her temprement like ?

sorry as i wish i knew who she belonged to - this is one thing that really breaks my heart. People should not have a pet if they cannot care for it.
