KTM 640 Adventure - 625cc - 2002 - 3 900 USD obo

Description
My bike is for sale, because I'm leaving Cambodia and shipping to my next assignement (Africa) will be too expensive, i'm gonna miss it there Crying
This is an execellent bike for both highways and offroad. It's very powerfull and the 28 liters tank makes sure you arrive at destination with no need to refuel !
If you're tired of your 250, too slow for highways and unconfortable for your passenger then this KTM is the bike you need.

History
Bought in Germany and then shipped in Cambodia by the previous owner, I'm the second owner.
Always well maintained by dirt bike specialists, the bike is in very good condition.
I've used it to travel around Cambodia (about 4,000 km of tarmac and dirt roads) and it has proved very reliable.
Hardly used in Phnom Penh where I prefer to use the small suzuki hayate

This bike is not registered (that's why it is SO cheap), never took the time and the money to do it. But It does have a khmer plate number (phnom penh) and soon road tax will be paid. - IMHO registration doesn't worth it, but if the buyer want to do it, I can help and I would agree to share the costs.

Extras
the bike comes with some spare parts (free): oil filters, air filter, break pads, spark plug, bulb, stand, tool kit
usd gears will be given away with the bike (gloves, helmet, googles)

Garmin GPS with routable map of Cambodia (and my waypoints) + more moto gears (jacket, new helmet, googles, lock) + could be included at an additional costs.

Hi, I am actually interested to know more about the Garmain GPS. Are you planning to sell it separately? Does it come with a detail map of Phnom Penh? I know that you do not need one in for PP, but when ones sense of direction is non-existent, any help is welcome!!! Thanks

As someone also asked by PM, I'd like to add this:

GPS is first for sale together with the bike. I might consider selling separately afterwards depending on how the bike sale is doing.

It's a OREGON 200 model, it includes detailed map of PP and Cambodia with street number and a couple of waypoints. It is routable, so you can enter a destination and it will calculate what is supposed to be the best route to get there.

It has a touch screen, easy to use even with gloves.

I don't really need to sell it, so I will ask 270 USD for it. It's one year old. New is 370 USD
See details on GARMIN website https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=145&pID=14902

but first it is reserved for the new bike owner, at a cheaper price...

hello,

Yes the bike is quite high. With 165 cm, i'm not sure you'll be able to touch the ground with both your feet. En tout cas pas les deux a plat.
Besides, the bike is almost sold.
I'll be back from thailand on friday and i let you know
