Bought system through hi-end audio dealer in Jakarta; Used system for less than 3 years. Cost me about US $6,000. Asking $3,000 or best reasonable offer plus shipping costs from Cambodia. Prefer selling whole system, but might consider selling individual components. Can give you contacts in Jakarta that can vouch for me and the system. Please e-mail to mjz1963 [at] gmail [dot] com.

Matt - Any idea how much the shipping costs would be or can you tell me the weight of the total system please? Simon.

Simon: Good, but tough question. When I had all my belongings (not just stereo system) packed up and shipped to Cambodia from Jakarta the full service was about $2,300. Total weight was about 1,500 lbs. But, that includes them coming to my Jakarta apartment and packing everything for me in a very professional way and door-to-door service to Cambodia. I have not taken the system out of the boxes and so it is still professionally packaged. All I would do is to ship it through some reliable, but simple service - not the full-service option. Maybe we would have to pay a small fee for insurance too. A very rough guess for how much the total system weighs with packaging would be about 350 lbs (150 kgs?). If you were very serious I could contact some shipping company here to get an estimate for the cost. I suppose you could do the same on your end and probably the cost would not be that much different. You could also do a websearch for the items and get estimated weight per item. The Odyssey website would give you the weights of the speakers and amp (actually, I remember the amp is 48kgs - definitely the single heaviest item). The Denon site would give you the weight of the AVR receiver and DVD player. The amp plus AVR and DVD would be at least 90% of the system's weight. The sub-woofer is about 50 lbs and the power conditioner and rear Mission speakers together would be about 15lbs. Hope this helps answer your question. Finally, I am having trouble logging into this forum for some reason. Would you mind replying to me by e-mail? My address is mjz1963 [at] gmail [dot] com. Matt

Simon: It seems that everytime I loggin it doesn't accept my password and I have to change it everytime. Its working now I guess because I haven't logged out yet. I'm happy to talk more about the system when you are back in PP.

Simon: I don't think I received follow-up from you to my last note? I am still trying to sell my stereo/home theater system. Please call me in Phnom Penh: 012750324 or e-mail: mjz1963 [at] gmail [dot] com. I am also still having trouble logging into EAS. Seems like it never accepts the password I created and I have to continually create a new password everytime I log-in... Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Matt
