You will be joining the multi disciplinary team of Friends-International comprised of over 500 professionals committed to achieving best quality and innovative holistic service for youth children and families worldwide.

What will you do?

As a Cambodian CYTI Alliance Coordinator you would need to build the capacity of local teams working directly on the field with the most marginalized children, youth and their families to become the new best standard in service provision.

This includes overseeing an Alliance of partner organizations and pilot projects in Alternative Care, Harm Reduction and Child Protection. You will create value to the teams we work with by coordinating the direct technical interventions needed to find the best way to address problems facing marginalized and vulnerable youth, children and families.

Initiatives to support and develop include:

Identifying new organizations to join the alliance
Strengthening the capacity of current CYTI Alliance members
Lead discussions with partners and government on developing national strategies and build country wide networks for holistic service
Lead assessments of organizational capacity and capitalize on service based strengths
Lead the development of national and international child protection awareness campaigns
Identify potential donors and contribute to proposal writing
Represent the CYTI Alliance in national and international meetings, workshops and forums
Oversee the implementation of pilot projects in Alternative Care, Harm Reduction and Child Protection Systems Building
Coordinate reporting to donors and donor relationships
Directly manage and build the capacity of 4 project managers

About you:

• You are an independent and dynamic team leader, passionate about capacity building who is able to drive networks in close collaboration with other organizations and government agencies
• You have a strong commitment to quality and impact for the marginalized populations
• You have relevant and exciting experience in social work programs and/or working with marginalized youth, children and families
• You are comfortable leading teams, project management and have experience in budget management
• You master working English and if you also speak a SEA language this is a plus!
• You know your way around computers and social media
• You will be our full time employee, based in Phnom Penh with potential to travel within the provinces and region for meetings and best practice sharing missions
• Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences
