Just thought that it might be a decent enough idea to put in here a recommendation for people who are interested in learning the khmer local language because I know from my own experience back in time that its kinda hard to find a really competent teacher...

took me a while until I have found finally a competent professional teacher after someone has recommended her at another cambodian forum... so I wanna share my info with you guys:

Her name is Sophaphy and I can tell that she is the most competent teacher from all I had before. (had already 20 lessonswith her...)
She is available for people who live in PhnomPenh and has already 17 years experience in teaching khmer.

So highly recommended for anybody who want seriously learn Khmer...
She is teaching conversation and writing and she is available to teach one-on-one or in small groups.
She can come to your home or office and has flexible hours.
Charge is 7 dollars per hour for one person and ten dollars for two people.
She can provide of course reference upon requests.
