7PM: POLISH ANIMATION NOW – Watch over 60 animation films from Poland, highlighting the rich film history of Germany’s neighbor. After Workd Wr 2, the Polish school of animation quickly spread to different continents. Creators like Lenica, Borowczyk, Szczechura, Kucia, Giersz, Rybczyński and Dumała won prestigious awards at world festivals and brought Polish animation into the spotlight. An important and faithful group of animated fans started to follow Polish animation. The genre became a Polish cultural ambassador. Our mini festival POLISH ANIMATION NOW is curated by Antek Grzybek.
