Can anyone offer advice about how to encourage monkeys to avoid visiting my balcony and eating my plants?
There's usually only one, quite a large male, who has a fondness for palm leaves. He allows just enough time between visits for the plants to start recovering. However, we have had up to 13 monkeys make their way through, usually earlier in the morning.
I don't want to hurt the monkeys, but I would like them to keep off. When I do see them, banging broom handles on railings makes a bit of difference in unsettling them, but I'm wary of getting close as they have big pointy teeth, which they like to show me!
Anyone resolved this problem or heard of any tricks?
Thanks!
