Will New Maharaja ever reopen?

Their food is delicious and we miss it. In the mean time, can anyone recommend other Indian restaurants as "the best"?
In their stead we've tried Sher-e-punjab (one and two), Indian Delight, Flavors of India and Phnom Penh India. Flavors of India and Sher-e-Punjab one seem the best out of these but don't come close to New Maharaja in taste or reliability.

SeP 2 is my favorite, once they know where you live they're great for delivery and will remember your address forever.
Everest is nice for a change too, their delivery is pretty good, I believe they once delivered to Battambang.
