Receiving Israel's ambassador Ephraim Ben Matityau and a business delegation from that country in Hanoi Monday, he said he was pleased with the growth of bilateral ties in many areas, including trade, investment, education and training.
He praised Matityau's contributions to promoting bilateral relations and said Vietnam would soon open an embassy in Israel.
Dung welcomed the Israeli delegation's intention to invest in Vietnam.
Matityau said the effective economic and educational cooperation between Israel and Vietnam has benefited both sides.
Executives from leading Israeli companies, who were on the delegation, said they hope to invest in oil and gas exploration and mining, oil refineries and distribution, energy, insurance and banking, hotels and desalination industries.
