Sharing House is a safe house for former Comfort Women (women who were forced into sexual slavery under the Japanese). On Sunday, June 15, they will be running their monthly English visit. Until this year, tours had only been available in Japanese or Korean. Guides are not historians so the tour will be very casual. In addition to visiting the on-site museum, the tour will visit some of the survivors and listen to their stories. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and Korean history.
The tour will meet at Gangbyeon Station at 10am (the museum is a 40 minute bus ride from there) and return to Gangbyeon Station at around 4pm. RSVP required. First come first serve basis. Email your name and cell phone number if possible to sharinghouse@gmail.com by June 13. The Sharing House send you an email confirming your spot and more detailed information.
