Extensive Discount Travel Makes Korea a Student Haven

The ‘Benefits in Korea’ booklet provides a myriad of discounted attractions within Korea, especially for those who hold an International Student Identity Card.

Offering 10-50% off many cultural attractions, entertainment, transport, restaurants and accommodation within Korea, the new booklet ought to attract budget travellers.

The Korea Railpass is heavily discounted for ISIC holders, with a 30day youth pass costing A$60 and a 10-day pass approximately A$132.

Domestic and international ferry travel is also reduced, as is the Seoul City Tour Bus.

Young travellers are encouraged to try Korean guest houses and backpacker’s hotels, which will cost approximately A$20 a night, with additional discounts of approximately 10% with an ISIC card.

Theme parks such as Everland, theatre performances in Seoul, as well as the major palace attractions of the capital are all discounted for ISIC holders.
