Dr. Wayne Patterson (PhD from U of Pennsylvania, Professor of Korean History who has taught at many universities) will address the Royal Asiatic Society, Seoul on June 17. He will speak on "Chinese-Korean relations in the 1880s", an academic-level talk that will both review what is known about the strategic and tactical political moves in this crucial era and reveal some little-known factors and aspects.
