Just read this week's installment?
Flower of Battambang (Bopha Battambang) was written and drawn by Em Satya beginning in 1990, and finished in 2007 with editorial and technical assistance from 'Our Books'.
It may well be Cambodia's first English-language 'graphic novel' (Khmer and French are also available). The translation and publication was finalized with generous help from VALEASE, ('Project for the Valorisation of Reading and Writing in Southeast Asia').
We welcome your questions or comments. Our Books staff are standing by:
John (in Phnom Penh), Santepheap (Quebec) and if you're really curious we're happy to check in with the author. _________________ http://www.ourbookscambodia.org |

Glad you like the comic, Cameron! I'm not sure I understand all your English, but I appreciate the enthusiasm.
The comic is currently being distributed inside Cambodia, but has an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), and we would eventually like to be able to sell it overseas. Anyone interested in selling/distributing English, French or Khmer versions can get in touch via editor [via] siewphewyeung.org.kh _________________ http://www.ourbookscambodia.org |
