“The public should be more understanding towards the physical limitations imposed on artists with disabilities” (Chng Seok Tin).

Singaporean artist Chng Seok Tin lost her eyesight mid-way through her career as an established print-maker. This exhibition of prints, etchings and lino-cuts reflects her 30 years as a practicing artist.

In addition to this retrospective, Seok Tin presents an interactive installation that explores concepts of vision impairment through, sound, movement and texture. These works has been developed through a series of workshops with the artist in collaboration with art students and blind participants in Phnom Penh. In combining different forms and materials, the installation aims to explore the possibilities of artistic expression for people with limited sight, inspiring us to think about different ways of seeing and shaping the visual world into a material form.
