Asia Pacific College Vietnam is now hiring for the position of Middle School/Primary Teacher at our brand new, state of the art campus in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam!

We are looking for a teacher to start with us immediately.

We are looking for a teacher with lots of positive energy, who loves children, understands teenagers (and the difficult world they are coming from!), and who has a passion for teaching. Our class sizes at APC Dong Nai are small to provide quality education. Our class sizes range from 10-13 students, so we are looking for someone who will plan, prepare and execute brilliant lessons!

Our campus comes complete with a gorgeous olympic sized swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, astro-turf soccer fields, work out center, ping pong tables, play yard, sand box, computer labs, science labs, dance studio and grand auditorium. Each classroom comes complete with a flat screen t.v, computer with internet access and all the supplies and materials you need to be a great, creative teacher.

The position offered through APC Dong Nai is on a full time basis, which would include teaching 2 classes a day (the same 2 classes everyday all week---so you will get quite familiar with your students!)

Working hours are from Monday to Friday 6:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 2 hour lunch from 11:00-1:00p.m. During those working hours, you will not be stacked, teaching all day, we do provide quite a bit of prep time!

Interested candidates MUST:

Have post secondary education (either a college diploma or university degree) from an accredited institution + a TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate

Be a native English speaker (Non-native English speakers, need not apply)

Be full of energy, enthusiastic, positive, a great team player, charismatic, and willing to learn new teaching techniques, and follow school regulations

Be willing to sign a one year contract, and abide by the terms stipulated in the contract

Travel/world experience is a bonus!

The pay for this position is EXCELLENT, and the position comes with a FREE fully furnished apartment, shared with other Foreign teachers at the school. Each apartment has 3 bedrooms and currently both apartments has 2 teachers in both. The apartments are located along the Dong Nai river and are in the heart of Bien Hoa city, 2 blocks from Bien Hoa market, and near lots and lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping.

Bien Hoa is located approximately 45 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City (or about 30 kms), and is a small town. There are not many foreigners here (there are currently 5 at our school - 1 Brit, 1 American and 3 Canadians -2 males and 3 females), so candidates must be willing to adapt to life in small-town Vietnam.

As we are a close knit community, candidates must be friendly, and willing to be a part of our team..

Once here, training will be provided on an ongoing basis, and we are a very friendly, doors open type of school, so showing you around town and making you feel like a part of the family is a given!
