Hello,
I live close to the toul tom poung market with my boyfriend and our daughter, and our owner want to increase the price of our rental.
We have 10 days to find another appartment or house, with hot water, a bathtube for our daughter if possible, and a terrace or a garden should be perfect.
Do you know something interesting for us?
Thanks

Thanks for your answer.
We cannot pay more than 700$ and we live in Phnom Penh for a very long time, maybe all our life.
We need 3 bedrooms, furniture, cable TV, internet in a quiet area, without power cut problem. And a terrace or a garden should be better.

With that sort of budget it shouldn't be too hard to find a very good place in the Toul Tom Poung area that fits your criteria, though if you're unlucky then your short timeframe could work against you. Does your lease allow for only 10 days' notice? I would have expected a month's notice is required - maybe you can buy some time, check it.

The two apartments quoted above seem overpriced to me. I suggest you go and see the folk at Palm Real Estate, at the corner of St57 & St278. The manager's name is Mr Sao Sakhom. Ph 023 350 734 / Mobile 012 274 827. Email palm_realestate [at] yahoo [dot] com . They're generally able to work well with your budget and when I found my place through them they didn't try to push overpriced places on to me once I told them I wasn't interested in them.

Alternatively, local real estate guru ichtom recommends Art the Homefinder (website http://artthehomefinder.wordpress.com/ has all the necessary info to contact him).
