not being in the country yet, i don't really understand how to figure out the number of rooms in the apartment or the surface of this place. so here it is: how many rooms/bedrooms/bathrooms whatever there is there, and what's the surface in square feet or square meters? thanks!

Typical shophouse type construction usually 4.5 to 6 metres wide and 16 to 21 metres deep,if there is a mezzanine it is about half the depth of the building.
So maybe all up just over a hundred square meters.They are pretty good spaces but access can sometimes be awkward and the stairs narrow and dark,oh and steep and uneven.
Khmers just cant do stairs,the mathematics involved in calculating the treads and risers is beyond them.
The old rule of thumb is twice the rise plus the going has to be 23 or 24 inches.
