Hi there- I am an English guy (29) living in a beautiful wooden house near the junction of Mao Tse Toung and Monivong. I am in PP for 5 more months and am looking for a flatmate (the tenancy can be extended).
It's an old, wooden house, very traditional with a big porch and a LOT of character. The living room is huge and very tastefully furnished (think retro Indochine), the kitchen is big (it has a cooker but no oven) and the bathroom is decent (it has a shower, no bath). The spare bedroom is big, with a fan.
The rent is $500 (i.e. $250 each). Electricity is about $70 a month. The flat has a TV with cable (included in the rent). A cleaner comes twice a week ($30 per month, i.e. $15 each). You can get mobile internet.

i really like the sound of the place. is it still available? I am moving to Phnome Penh on the 24th, starting an internship at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. I will be there for about 4 months. The office is in National Road 4, Chaom Chau Commune, Dangkao District, Phnom Penh P.O. BOX 71. I am having a bit of trouble finding the address on google maps so I have no clue if thats close to your flat or not.

the place is on the corner of mao and monivong, the court is 16 km outside of town. there will be a bus picking you up in the lorning on that corner (monivong:mao tse tung) around 7 am and it takes about an hour to get to the court this way.
or you can rent a moto and it takes 35 to 40 mn but it is quite dangerous to ride there (it is dangerous to ride anywhere in pp unless you are used to ride in dire conditions)
by car: around an hour.
