I know I should't use the words honest and realestate in the same sentence and this is a massive request but we have to battle on yeah...
My landlord who is of the young nuevo rich set but belongs to a family with "old" money and lots of it is trying to sell me the apartment I have been renting off him for the last 8 months. He had only just purchased it when I moved in on a long term contract which included a clause that if he had a buyer I would have to move out. I love the apartment and the area but I know he is asking way way too much. I have been living in PP on and off for about 8 years and do have a fair idea of the prices as it was my job back home and i have made it my concern to keep up with the market here. Does anyone know of a local honest realestate agent ( there I go again) who would give me an appraisal of the property's value. Quite willing to pay a fee for the service but not willing to give " the owners details, how much I pay rent, how much I wanna pay " etc.. etc.. As I said it is a big ask but who knows....... My landlord is putting the pressure on a bit with a ficticious array of people that " are lining up to buy it so I better get in quick seeing as I like the place so much" sort of thing. I would actually like to buy it just to get him off my back......
