Apartment for Rent
Location: Street 63, No. 194, on the corner of Sts 63 and 306.
Asking rent: 1250 USD. Possible to negotiate. 2 months' deposit. Minimum rental period is probably six months but you should check with landlord.
Rent includes cable TV and water. A TV and TV stand are provided with the flat. Electricity will be paid for by the tenant. There is parking space for one car, though this is sometimes tricky as the landlord has 2 large cars of his own.
Flat is above landlord's. 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms.One study with built-in shelves/cabinet and desk provided.
Master bedroom has en-suite bathroom with bathtub.
Air conditioning in all rooms except kitchen and dining area.
The two other bedrooms have bathrooms, also en-suite, but without bathtubs.
The fourth bathroom is just off the kitchen.
Bathrooms should be taken to include a commode, sink and shower.
Rooms are very good size. The living room is fully furnished with Khmer-style furniture. It includes dark red cushions although these are not seen in the photographs. All rooms are furnished with curtains
Master bedroom has a bed and mattress, with a large closet.
One other room had a bed, but no mattress. We bought a mattress for this bed but will leave it for new tenant if desired.
The third room is empty but has a large closet
The kitchen has a gas stove with oven. A gas cylinder is included. New cupboards were added when we rented the place.
The dining area has a table and 4 chairs.
The terrace is huge.
Privacy is guaranteed and family downstairs is astonishingly quiet.
There is a guard at the gate paid by the landlord, but we give him a tip every month because he is so polite and helpful. He has run errands for us as well.
