Seeking a 1 bedroom furnished, secure apartment with cable, a/c, parking for moto and internet access. $300-$400 a month for six months minimum. Prefer to stay close to Norodom or BKK1. Immediate.

Should be apartments everywhere with not too many barangs and the khmers hurting with the downturn.Dont fret over cable for the net,you are better to be wireless either through the phone with qb,mobitel or starcell.
Ezecom are now advertising a cheap rate with a wireless modem as well.
I had the tel line installed for the net and it just wasnt worth it.
Good luck but have you tried art the homefinder?

There is a post on this forum from Cindy. I was at her apartment on Saturday. It may just suit you to a tee!! St 141, close to Sihanouk - so Norodoms just down the road. Good luck.

hello i have an apartment near Friends Restaurant with lease till September 2009. I leave next week for home. Here's something info:

Foreign NGO worker going home unexpectedly is sad to leave a lovely place and family-like camaraderie with Dutch & Cambodian NGO workers. Two-level apartment above NGO shop with

one level
- spacious high-ceilinged living room (dining table + 4 chairs)
- balcony
- kitchen (fridge / freezer, cooking facilities + utensils, shelving unit)
- small bathroom (WC + shower)

on split level - one cubicle-type bedroom (bed, fan)

next level
- one bedroom (air-con, side table, TV, bed + bedding, clothes storage, stand fan)
- with attached bathroom (WC, shower + sink)
- large balcony (fantastic for seeing Cambodian life passing by below)

Rent is US$300 / month. For enquiries & to make an appointment to view, please contact Karen +855 12 645 980 or Veary +855 11 616 219 – Thanks!

Perqs
- Walking distance to the Riverside
- Many eateries, internet cafes & street foodstalls within walking distance
- Internet access can be arranged – it’s fast and reliable!
- Cooking, cleaning and transportation (motodup or tuk2) can be arranged with NGO at very reasonable cost to support their work
- Open-air market close by with fresh (and affordable!) produce daily
- NGO team very obliging and friendly
