Am also looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom home, close to Wat Phnom, $600 per month, sunny in the day, quiet and dark at night. Looking forward to your replies.

lorna, if you don't mind doing a bit of footwork ... on the street joining wat phnom to the riverfront (the street runs east-west, there'a mini-mart on the corner facing wat phnom) ... there's about half a dozen apartment vacant on that street, all well below your budget ... most are E2 or E3, with balconies at the front ...
