Street 130 from the river to Norodom is now one-way. The local boys in blue are out enforcing it.
Crooked thing is that if you are heading south on Norodom and take the green arrow at the traffic lights (Central market and Norodon traffic lights) it sends you down 130 the WRONG way.

They have been at the corner of 130 and Norodom taking money for that infraction since at least February. Not new at all.
The posting of cops there is not new. However the large one way arrows on the road are new.
Yeah. I was stopped there twice, firstly in Feb.
Once is excusable, but twice . . . is just negligent on my part.
Aggressive enough bastards too.
I think this was always one way but they never enforced it much before back in the good old days when the Police were too busy sleeping and human/drug trafficking.
Same for street 136, which is one way in the opposite direction. It's never been enforced before, but over the last few days they've been stopping a lot of cars and putting a lot of bikes in a truck on the first block in from the riverside.
Just in time to raise some additional "tea money" for pchum ben I guess.
