I've got about 5gigs to download.. even though I have a good connection.. it's just to huge and would take several days with my current account, which is quite good most of the time.. Does anyone know a place in town with a real fast connection..? not just 100k a sec.. but 1Meg a sec. I have been many places.. but can not locate a place with a really serious fast connection.. it's mostly much less than what is promised..
You are right much of the internet services here say that they have fast down load connections but actually its very slow. Cambodia hasn't caught up with other countries on the speed thing yet. But I heard DIGI is giving off a new promotion on this with 1 MG sec, 7 GB monthly. It might be best to try them and see how it goes. They say they are using FIBRE OPTIC but from what I know what they advertise may not always be true from my experiences.
The biggest difference in Cambodia is not the speed, it's the price. It's come down loads in recent years, but it's still got a way to go.
