Join the Friends-International dynamic teams in working with marginalized urban children and youth, their families and communities, to help them become independent and productive citizens of their country.
Friends-International (FI) started Kaliyan Mith Siem Reap program in 2005. Kaliyan Mith provides a holistic social reintegration service that includes Outreach, Drop-In Centers, Educational Center and school reintegration, Vocational Training and employment for youth and parents.
FI is seeking a qualified candidate to work closely with the Kaliyan Mith Siem Reap (KMSR) teams.

Position overview
The Technical Assistant will work closely with the Program Director and provide technical support on the field to build capacity of the local management team. The position will provide support in the following areas:
- Developing and setting up a new monitoring and evaluation system
- Improving of internal reporting processes
- Fundraising through grants applications and fostering donor relationships
- Increasing visibility of the program locally and internationally

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT will:
• Support processes of maintaining up to date accurate records on monthly project activities and standard project indicators
• Support compiling and analyzing the data and the indicators to ensure set objectives are achieved
• Assist the Program Director (PD) in setting up a comprehensive and effective monitoring system
• Assist in producing and writing quality activity reports
• Support the compilation of information and reports of project assessments, program data, lessons learnt and best practices
• Conduct frequent field monitoring and support the team to use the FI monitoring and evaluation tools
• Coordinate researches, surveys, internal and external evaluations based on program needs
• Assist the PD in fundraising by developing grants proposals, fostering good relationships with the donors and finding new grants opportunities
• Coordinate the implementation of external communication, promotional and marketing plans aiming at improving social businesses and programs visibility

We would like you to have the following:
• A degree in Development/Social Work/Project Management
• A solid knowledge of Cambodian NGO environment, monitoring and evaluation systems and fundraising, business environment is a plus
• Minimum 2years experience in an NGO working with children/youth/communities
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel
• Exceptional writing and speaking skills in English language

Location: This position is based in Siem Reap

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences. Initial 3 months probation period will be under a voluntary contract.
