CARE International in Cambodia is currently recruiting an HIV/AIDS Advisor to work across its HIV/AIDS programming, including the USAID-funded Strengthened Capacity for Improved Community Health program.

Major responsibilities: The HIV/AIDS Advisor will ensure the technical quality of CARE’s HIV/AIDS programming, with a focus on care and treatment, enabling evidence-based practice and strong links with strategy development and practice at national level. Key technical areas are HIV/AIDS care and treatment, including anti-retroviral therapy, prevention of mother to child transmission, and community-based care.

REQUIREMENT
The Essential Requirements for the position are:
Relevant social science or medical qualifications.
At least 3 years experience in HIV care and treatment in resource-limited settings.
Experience of community-based care, including support for orphans and vulnerable children preferred.
Experience of proposal writing, donor liaison and reporting.
Experience in developing monitoring and evaluation systems.
Demonstrated training/coaching and facilitation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Khmer language an advantage.
