Grant Coordinator

Save the Children Norway is an innovative and learning oriented organization working to fulfill
children's rights in Cambodia.We are seeking a qualified Cambodian candidate to work as
Grant Coordinator. This position is based in Phnom Penh.

Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or other Development fields.
* Extensive and substantive relevant practical experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor Degree.
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in development work, preferably in the field of developing concept notes, proposal writing and monitoring andevaluating projects using a result based monitoring and evaluation approach.
* Good analytical skills in order to interpret large amounts of data, ability to identify and bring attention to potential or actual lapses in project performance in relation to budget expenditure.
* Experience in developing and using databases for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and a basic understanding of the use of statistics.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to formulate recommen dations, write reports, as well as to contribute to the proposal development process as needed.
* Experience in developing proposals for grants and fundraising purposes will be considered an advantage.
* Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and ability to use the Internet as a work tool.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:
* Support the Grants and Fundraising team and the program sections in the process of developing concept notes and proposals for grants and fundraising purposes.
* Responsible for monitoring grants expenditure against changes in children's life, i luding results and impact and report regularly to the Grants and Fundraising Manager.
* Responsible for updating and maintaining the Grants Management System related to the monitoring and evaluation needs of projects in the Education, Child Protetion and Child Rights Governance, and Emergency Preparedness sectors.
* Coordinate the development/improvement of tools for result based project monitoring and evaluation in the program sections.
* Coordinate the evaluation of projects/programs with the Education, Child Protection, Child Rights Governance and Emergency Preparedness sectors to ensure that evaluations are done in a timely manner.
* Provide support in setting up, organizing and maintaining the grant section's digital and physical document filing system.
