I’ve been working as a PA/Office Manager & Project Manager for the past 7 years in London, but decided to get out while I’m still young! 
I believe I could be a great asset to anyone running a business here who feels tired of the day-to-day running of an office, guest house, restaurant; who needs someone to do the chasing of suppliers, sub-contractors, quality control and general admin. I'm afraid I don't. I have a tutor lined up to start learning next week, but suspect it will take a while before I can actually claim to speak the language!
would you consider a manager position in a bar? I don't mean that offensively, and no other connotations involved ... I do know a gentleman in PP looking for an english-speaking bar manager (unfortunately, it IS a hostess bar, so ... ) who can also manage pay-roll and accounts ... inventory, stock ... all that ...
I would very much appreciate the introduction. In your brief description of what your friend require, it sounds exactly the kind of job I'd be suited for, my only concern would be whether I'd be comfortable in the environment of a hostess bar. most of them aren't that bad, really ... hostess bars that is ... just don't take things too seriously ... i mean back home, you've prolly had a few drinks in a bar/club, met a guy and had a chat, maybe a game of pool ... ? ... it doesn't need to go any further than that ...
