Executive Director with Cambodian Women’s Crisis Center

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director to lead and oversee The Cambodia Women's Crisis Centre (CWCC) and continue to work closely with different institutions to advocate for Women’s Rights. The CWCC is seeking for a position of Executive Director to appoint an inspirational, strategically focused and committed person for this role.

The CWCC, a highly regarded local not-for-profit organisation based in Phnom Penh, has been operating since 1997 and continues to grow its services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, rape, and trafficking. The CWCC's vision is to eliminate violence against women and is committed to reducing violence through legal structural reforms and direct services for women.

Duties
The Duties for the position include:
Oversee all operations at each of the 3 offices and shelters;
Report on CWCC programs operations and financial position to the board of directors;
Provide strategic direction and ensure CWCC’s long term goals are achieved according to its core values;
Work closely with Management Committee to manage program operations and general management;
Lead and motivate staff, ensure organisation cohesiveness;
Be a spokesperson for CWCC and continue to advocate women’s right’s through the media, workshops, lobby campaigns;
Liaise and build relationships with relevant stakeholders including Ministries, board of directors, NGOs, beneficiaries and donors;
Submit reports and proposals to donors and relevant partners on a timely manner;
Continue to source funding and new donors.

Requirements
The Essential Requirements for the position are:
Demonstrated strong management and leadership skills;
High level financial management skills and budgetary skills;
Excellent people management, conflict management and interpersonal skills;
Previous experience in advocating for women’s rights and demonstrated foresight in women’s issues;
Excellent networking skills with various stakeholders including Ministries, donors and board of directors;
Ability to fundraise and have high report writing skills;
Previous experience in project management, high analytical and monitoring and evaluation skills;
Excellent written communication skills in Khmer and English;
Minimum 5 years experience working in Human Rights;
Formal qualification (at least bachelor degree) in Law, Human Rights, Development and Gender, and relevant disciplines;
Gender sensitive and committed to women’s rights.
