I have a very nice, very honest cleaning lady, Oeun, who needs more work. I only keep her busy a few hours in the morning, three days a week. She has been working for me for two years, and worked for who lived in my apartment before for a couple of years before that. She cleans like a trooper, irons underwear like nobody's business and is totally reliable. She learned how to cook at the Garden Cafe, which is a bit unfortunate, as she thinks Westerners only like food with no flavor, so I don't bother to have her cook - other than prepare salads and cut up fruit for smoothies. She says "Sir" a lot, but otherwise speaks no English. She is older, supports some nephews and could really use some more cash. I would rather have her earn it, than give it to her.
