We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the bank, including developing new business, ensuring profitability, maintaining customer relations, motivating and developing staff, maintaining a high standard of service, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position must also work well with key partners such as business trade organizations, accountants and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan, including cultivation of new business
- Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the bank including budget, human resources, financial operations, and internal controls
- Conceptualize and implement new product lines and continuous product development
- Represent the bank in liaison with customers, staff, outside partners, and the community
- Represent the bank in local, national, regional and international forums, conferences, and other important venues
- Ensure that the bank practices are in compliance with the laws, policies, structure, systems, international banking standards, and requirements of the National Bank of Cambodia
- Create and analyze management reports and other information for stakeholders
- Promote local competencies for effective management and leadership succession
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or professional degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in a similar position in the banking industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry and lending practices
- Familiarity with the mechanics of loan syndication is a plus
- Experience with, and an understanding of, Cambodia’s banking rules and regulations is strongly preferred
- Mature, resourceful and able to work effectively under pressure, with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong management skills and leadership ability
- Fluent in English. Strong Khmer and Chinese language ability are preferred
