The Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA), a German INGO, has recently opened a cooperation office in Phnom Penh. Since 1977, BORDA’s mission has been to improve the living conditions of socially disadvantaged groups in an environmentally sustainable manner. http://www.borda-sea.org

BORDA-Cambodia is currently seeking a Cambodian national to fill the following position: Admin/Finance Officer (1 position based in Phnom Penh)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Manage all office administrative requirements
 Manage office financial resources
 Financial record keeping and preparing staff payroll
 Procurement of goods and services for office and project activities
 Secretarial and logistical support
 Translations written and verbal

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree majoring in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years work experience in managing a similar position in an NGO or business environment

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Detailed knowledge of administrative, accounting and finance systems and processes
• High level professional English conversation abilities
• Strong Khmer and English writing/typing skills
• Advanced computer skills (Min – Advanced MS Office, Internet, Email)
• Excellent communication skills

IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES

• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to plan and commit to work to meet deadlines.
• Strong attitude and desire in learning to improve his/her skills and experience.
