Your original price was way over the top, as is the new price. You remind me of all those greedy nasty Khmer retailers who try to sell their products at vastly inflated prices. I think you'll need to reduce drastically before you get a hit.
Why inflated? I started with less than what I paid at Siam Paragon when I bought the bag. Some online research will reveal to you the value of Victorinox merchandise. Your comparison with retailers in local markets is inapt as we are talking top-of-the-range quality products, not cheap fakes, plus as I already pointed out I started at less than purchase price. I am not looking for a hit but to sell the item at a fair price as I am moving and don't need it. Selling at less than 40% of its value/what I paid for it, is as low as I will go. Therefore $150 is my final offer. I don't think greedy or nasty applies, such strong words are best carefully chosen.
Your original asking price was inflated - it was just a bit less than what you apparently paid, which, I would suggest, was way too much in the first place!
I own mostly Samsonite products bought at DJ's and Myers in Oz. I bought during sales periods and got about 60% off. If I was to sell those here in an expat forum I certainly wouldn't be asking anything near what I paid - even one bag which has only experienced one trip (brand new!!!!)
