There are many forums on the internet today. Many forums contain much useless information and banter.
The EAS forums are primarily a source for expats to advise other expats about things they know about in their particular country of expatriation.

These forums are NOT for blatant advertising for "spruikers" selling their wares. If you do wish to advertise, please contact the forum administrator before doing so. The reason we are tight on the controls is that we do NOT want spammers clogging up the forum with unwanted useless posts. If you have a product then please explain it properly, giving full details of the offer. Not just I can sell you this at a good price type of posts. They will be deleted.

Chat about almost anything..share a viewpoint...get some wisdom..and perhaps more than you bargained for. WARNING... Post using COMMON SENSE. Jibberish and nonsensical posts are not wanted here. Racist, Sexist and otherwise ignorant hate posts will be recorded and deleted. Repeat offenders will have their email address and IP banned.

This is a family site and therefore subject topics that are not of a family nature will be deleted. Offenders will receive one warning. Repeat offenders will be banned. "No Second Chances"

Posting email addresses: If you wish someone to contact you via email please post the SAME email address that you used to register on these forums with.

Links
Hyper links to other websites are acceptable. Links to websites that are deemed unacceptable such as porographic or related to pornography or establishments that promote pornography will be deleted.
Links to other websites that are "directly competing" with EAS for web traffic are also not allowed.
EAS also reverves the right to decide the suitablity of links to other sites.

Be polite and all will be well.

I may add to these rules as the forums become busier.

Hi Anthony,

I am new to EAS. I was wondering if I am able to post a media release that I have written on one of the boards. It is for the purpose of promoting a martial arts web TV show.

If necessary, I can pass on a copy for its consideration.

Thanks.

I recently posted a reply to a thread ( under my normal user name of robshep56 ) concerning posting cigarettes overseas which I was critical of the local postal service.I made mention of the product we are importing and selling which is electronic cigarettes (ecigs)which are a safe and cheap aid in giving up or reducing one's cigarette habit.
A few readers picked up on this reply and in turn contacted me regarding interest in finding out more and possibly purchasing an electronic cigarette.
I have since registered our business on your site under our new user name and email which I am using now. Would it be possible to start a new topic on the forum regarding the electronic cigarettes that we are selling as to alert more readers about them. we only wish to post the topic once with our email address enclosed which in turn has an attachment explaining all aspects and benefits of using an ecig.
This should not clog up the site at all as the thread will direct readers directly to our email address. We are just a couple of expats, both long term smokers with cigarette related health issues who were introduced to ecigs at the start of the year and immediately cut down to just a few cigs a day.. we make only (beer money) on them but would really like to spread the word about these ecigs as they really do help with people with cigarette habits. I can send you the email attachment that we send to interested persons so that you are fully aware of what we are doing. garobecigs [at] hotmail [dot] com thanx for your time Rob
