Eight artists juxtapose their realities in Vietnam – and their beliefs about its history and culture – in a stunning choreography exhibit that challenges the misconceptions of Vietnam as a country. From Feb. 21 to Apr. 27, these artists will showcase through performance and visual art the country’s historical events and social phenomena, with Disrupted Choreographies.
Featuring the work of Lena Bui, Tiffany Chung, Dinh Q Le, Jun Nguyen-Hatsushiba, Nguyen Huy An, Nguyen Thai Tuan, Nguyen Trinh Thi and the Propeller Group, Disrupted Choreographies draws on the talents of some of Vietnam’s most influential and thought provoking artists in a space that explores the true complexities of the history and reality of Vietnam today.
Disrupted Choreographies from Feb. 21 to Apr. 27, with collaboration from Carre d’Art – Musee d’Art Contemporain in Nimes, France, and organised in celebration of France-Vietnam diplomatic relations.
