A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy play by William Shakespeare. It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta. The play includes the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set. The play is one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world.

About Phnom Penh Players - We are an informal group of people, some with experience, most without, who enjoy getting together and seeing what kind of theatre we can produce. It’s great fun and allows us an opportunity to raise money for causes within Cambodia. We aim to put on two to three performances each year, including our annual Christmas Panto each December.
