5.30PM: BOOK LAUNCH - The Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO) Cambodia, the country’s leading NGO in the field of mental health care and psychosocial support, and the only psychological organization in Cambodia active in transitional justice activities in the context of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), would like to invite the public to the launch of its publication “My Testimony – Life Stories of Survivors of the Khmer Rouge Regime” which contains the personal stories of 10 incredibly brave, courageous and resilient Khmer Rouge survivors. These survivors are all civil parties at the ECCC who have received psychological support and culture-specific trauma treatment from TPO to help them deal with the past. We hope you join us at META HOUSE to learn more about the ongoing psychological impact of the Khmer Rouge regime on survivors and Cambodian society today, listen to and meet some of the survivors, find out about the work being done to help them, ask questions, share thoughts and pick up a copy of “My Testimony” (available in Khmer and English).
