7PM: DOCUMENTARY - Cambodia's anti-sex trafficking icon, Somaly Mam, has been accused of being a fraud. Named one of Time Magazine's “Most Influential People”, Somaly generated millions of dollars and celebrity backing for her work against sexual slavery. But following reports that she lied about her past, the foundation bearing her name closed. Now, she is fighting to rebuild her reputation and to look after the girls and women in her care. In Al Jazeera’s TRUTH OR LIES (2015, 25 min), Somaly talks on camera for the first time about what she says are false claims.

7.30PM: DOCUMENTARY - With DREAMCATCHER (2015, 98 mins), documentary doyenne Kim Longinotto offers a moving, yet slyly understated, portrait of a woman who, like so many the director’s heroine-subjects, might just qualify for secular sainthood. The star is Chicago-based Brenda Myers-Powell, a former prostitute who now runs the foundation of the title: a nonprofit dedicated to helping sex workers and young women at risk. Just as Brenda lives by a credo never to judge another woman, so too does the film, which creates an uplifting portrait of redemption and acceptance.
