Gregory Osborn is an anarchist. He became one at 16 on his first acid trip. 48 years later he hit Bali, and this useful philosophy went viral in his psyche. The changes were unexpected and dramatic. His personality underwent drastic changes. Returning to the tropics ignited Osborn’s bi-polarity. In Ubud, he worked 18 hours a day for two months. Many of the pieces the artist will be showing come from this Bali episode, but he has included pieces from other manic episodes as well. Osborn draws heavily from the astral field; his muse takes over and causes him much consternation and inconvenience throughout the creative process, and something truly strange always emerges. Osborne: “I invite the few, the brave, the chosen [not my decision] to hopefully benefit from the new territory I have discovered, and the visual imagery which depicts this journey.”
