7PM: DOCUMENTARIES - Kampot, the third largest coastal province in Cambodia, shares a border with Vietnam to the east and extends into the Gulf of Siam to the south. Before it became today’s tourism destination, it was one of the last Khmer Rouge strongholds. Two Meta House films focus on Kampot’s economic development in recent years. PEPPERFIELDS (2010, 20 min) introduces you to former Khmer-Rougee soldiers who farm the best pepper in the world. LUCKY PIGS OF KAMPONG TRACH (2011, 25 min) shows how farmers developed a successful cooperative enterprise manufacturing animal feed.
