THE DOORS 30th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION (1999, 172 min) is definitely the ultimate collection of archived “Doors” footage available - footage from their only ever fully recorded concert at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, a swag of film clips and lots of footage from other live recordings. This is about as comprehensive a set of features that a Doors fan could want. It also includes an extremely extensive song list that is second to none, a remix of ‘The Ghost Song’, a poem written by Morrison, and an updated film clip for ‘Break on Through’ - both being more of a tribute to Jim Morrison then anything else.
