FESTIVAL DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE - Congratulations on the 10th anniversary! The SCIENCE FILM FESTIVAL has been organized under the umbrella of the Goethe-Institut since 2005. Together with local partners, the festival supports science education through film screenings and learning activities in 15 countries including Cambodia. Almost 500.000 young viewers per year learn that science is not just dry theory – but can be made fun! Tonight, we premiere the festival film 10 YEARS OF SCIENCE FILM FESTIVAL (2015, 10 min), directed by Nico Mesterharm and Marc Eberle. Moreover, we’ll screen the best entries by Cambodian filmmakers including RAIN HARVEST by Khin Sina (2012, 7 min), GONE WITH THE WATER (2012, 10 min) by Ly Polen, FLOATING LIVES FLOATING HOUSE (2012, 13 min) by Hem Vanna and MY RIVER, MY LIFE, MY FISH (2011, 6 min) by Chhum Sophea.
