McDermott Gallery is a keystone in Siem Reap’s ever evolving arts scene. Dedicated to fine art photography, and supporting a host of local and international artists since 2004, McDermott Gallery was founded by photographer John McDermott and his wife, writer Narisara Murray.

Having opened their flagship gallery at FCC Angkor along the Siem Reap River, they expanded by opening a multi-exhibition gallery space in the Old Market area in 2006, in conjunction with the second annual Angkor Photo Festival. A third McDermott Gallery opened within the walls of the iconic Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in 2012. These international caliber galleries continue to encourage and support fine art photographers and artists from Southeast Asia and around the world.
