The Insider Gallery by InterContinental Phnom Penh is an open art space that aims to support local community’s artists by providing a unique exhibition area and promote their work.
This art gallery offers the hotel’s guests an insight into Phnom Penh’s cultural and artistic scene right within its walls. A different exhibition of paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures or architecture is held every month. Exhibited artworks are for sale and all proceeds go to the artist. However, The Insider Gallery encourages the artists to make a donation to Project Hammer, a non government organization founded by InterContinental Hotels Group employees in Singapore which raises funds on a yearly basis to build houses for underprivileged families in Cambodia.
A vernissage is organized every first Thursday of each month and the hotel’s guests are welcome to join the event; a great opportunity to meet on-the-rise artists and to discover their work.
