Smart Mobile supports Cambodia SEA games contingent

The Cambodian Contingent to the 26th SEA games in Indonesia Yesterday received a major boost from Mobile Phone Operators Smart Mobile. The Chief Executive Officer of the Telcom giant Mr. Thomas Hundt announced a Gold sponsorship of the National Olympic Committee SEA Games Farewell Gala Dinner to the tune of 3000 USD. In addition to the financial support, Smart Mobile also pledged to award Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists with Sim Packages with loaded Credit for a Year.
This was made known during an MOU signing ceremony Tagged SMART CHAMPIONS SEA GAMES 2011 which was held at the NOCC Secretariat presided over by President of the NOC of Cambodia, Dr. Thong Khon and witnessed by other members of the Executive board and the media.
Making the Announcement, Mr. Thomas Hundt stated that Smart Mobile's involvement in sports is part the company's social Responsibility by highlighting their previous support for Sports in the Kingdom.
" It is part of our Policy of Smart life" Thomas Hundt stated in his opening speech.
" Smart Mobile philosophy is based on Education, Sports and Social Development and in other ways to actualize this, we are happy to Support the SEA games Contingent" he said.
The CEO also noted that Smart Mobile has sponsored several other events in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Environment as well as Ministry of Education Youth and Sports.
Smart mobile will award Gold medalists Sim Cards with 50USD call credit for a year, Silver medalists will walk away with Sim Cards with 20USD Call credit for a year while Bronze medalists will be awarded Sim Cards with 10USD call credit for a year.
In response to Smart Mobiles Sponsorship, NOCC president and Minister of Tourism, Dr. Thong Khon thanked the Telcom Giant for their corporate support and urged athletes to see this gesture as added incentive and motivation to excel in the Biennial Sports Fiesta in Indonesia.
